English Premier League Final Weekend Predictions

Arsenal VS. Watford

Arsenal host relegation-threatened Watford at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday with the Hornets’ Premier League status on the line. Watford is 18th on the Premier League table, level on points with Aston Villa but worse off by a solitary goal. Watford must win the game by a higher goal margin to best Aston Villa’s superior goal difference. Watford could lose this match and still stay up if Aston Villa loses heavily to West Ham. A loss will see Watford return to the Championship after five years.

Arsenal is looking to win their final home game and finish on a high note. They will miss out on a European spot this season. However, they can still finish eighth if other results elsewhere go their way.

Prediction: Arsenal VS. Watford- 1-2

Chelsea needs just a point to guarantee Champions League football at Stamford Bridge next season. Chelsea boss Frank Lampard needs to work on his defense very well ahead of this game. Chelsea has conceded more times than any other team in the top half with goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga coming under severe scrutiny this season.

Wolves are a dangerous side that can cause the Blues a lot of problems. Wolves are eager to secure their spot in the Europa League since Spurs are right behind them. They could upset the Blues on Sunday.

Prediction: Chelsea VS. Wolves- 2-1

Crystal Palace VS. Tottenham

Tottenham will be visiting Selhurst Park on Sunday to take on Crystal Palace. Tottenham was at their clinical best on their way to securing victories in four of their last five games. Tottenham is one point away from a Europa League berth and will be looking to win this game. Tottenham can still finish as high as 6th spot if they win this game, and Wolves lose to Chelsea. That should inspire the Tottenham players to put in a high tempo performance.

Crystal Palace is currently on a 6-game losing streak. Crystal Palace will be relieved to see the finish line in sight and could surprise Mourinho’s men.

Prediction: Crystal Palace VS. Tottenham- 0-2

Everton VS. Bournemouth

Everton and Bournemouth also clash at Goodison Park with the Cherries’ Premier League survival on the line. After five seasons in the English top-flight, Bournemouth could get relegated to the championship on Sunday. Everton ended a 4-game winless run with a win over Sheffield United last Monday. However, they are still favorites and are unbeaten in 11 home league matches since Marco Silva’s exit in December.

Prediction: Everton VS. Bournemouth- 2-1

Leicester City VS. Man United

A place in the Champions League will be at stake when Leicester City and Man United meet at King Power Stadium. Man United needs to avoid a defeat to secure Champions League football. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his boys would love to get back into the Champions League via their league placing to take the pressure off them ahead of the restart of the Europa League. Man City VS. Norwich

Man City will be aiming to build on their routine 4-0 win over Watford against Norwich at the Etihad Stadium. Man City needs to score a minimum of three goals to pass the 100-goal mark for the season.

Norwich will be hoping to avoid the embarrassment of exiting the Premier League exit with a humiliating defeat on Sunday. Norwich is on a 9-game losing, scoring once during that miserable period.

Prediction: Man City VS. Norwich- 4-0

Newcastle VS. Liverpool

Liverpool will be aiming to put the icing on the cake when they take on Newcastle United at St. James Park. Liverpool failed to pick up 100 points, but will still be dangerous against Newcastle. Liverpool has shown enough professionalism since being crowned champions.
