Week 51 English Premier League Predictions

Soccer match predictions

Everton VS. Arsenal

Everton will host Arsenal at Goodison Park this weekend. Interim boss Duncan Ferguson has got off on a flying note after claiming four points from two difficult games, winning against Chelsea and drawing against Man United. Their confidence level has risen ahead of this clash against Arsenal. On the other hand, Arsenal has not lived up to their expectations this season; they are struggling and are low in confidence ahead of this game. It’s going to be a difficult one to call, but I predict a slim win for Everton.

Everton: 2 Arsenal: 1

Aston Villa VS. Southampton

Aston Villa will welcome Southampton to Villa Park. Both teams are level on points and are eager to escape relegation. This game will be tough and a close one to call because both sides need the win badly. I predict a win for Aston Villa because they have the men who can do the job.

Aston Villa: 2 Southampton: 0

Bournemouth VS. Burnley

Bournemouth will face Southampton at the Vitality Sports Stadium. Bournemouth did well last weekend by beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Eddie Howe’s side will be approaching this game with some much-needed confidence. Burnley also defeated Newcastle by a lone goal last weekend. Burnley is not regarded as good travelers but will be hoping to grab something out of this game. I predict a scoring draw in this game.

Bournemouth: 1 Burnley: 1

Brighton VS. Sheffield United

Brighton will face Sheffield United at the American Express Community Stadium. Brighton is playing some beautiful football so far this season, but beating Sheffield United will be easier said than done. Sheffield is performing above expectations this season. This game will be a close encounter and a difficult one to call. I predict a scoring draw in this game.

Brighton: 1 Sheffield United: 1

Newcastle VS. Crystal Palace

Newcastle will host Crystal Palace at their St. James Park. Newcastle is undefeated in their previous seven home games. They look strong at home, but beating Crystal Palace is easier said than done. Crystal Palace is also playing some good football. This game would be a cagey encounter, but I expect Newcastle to win.

Newcastle: 1 Crystal Palace: 0

Norwich City VS. Wolves

Norwich will welcome Wolves at Carrow Road. Norwich did well by picking a point at King Power Stadium against second-place Leicester and could replicate last weekend’s performance in this game. Norwich needs to keep on improving the defensive aspects of their game if they want to survive this season. Wolves, on the other hand, have been in fine form of late although they lost to Tottenham last weekend. Norwich needs this win badly but I predict a slim win for Wolves.

Norwich City: 1 Wolves: 2

Manchester City VS. Leicester City

Man City will host Leicester at the Etihad Sports Stadium. This game promises to be entertaining and exciting. Man City will go all guns blazing at Leicester. Man City needs to beat Leicester to keep their hopes of defending the title for the third season in a row while Leicester is playing some delightful football so far this season under manager Brendan Rodgers. Leicester is sitting in second place ahead of this game. I predict a win for Leicester because Man city is struggling at the back and experienced striker Jamie Vardy is enjoying another season to remember.

Manchester City: 1 Leicester City: 2

Watford VS. Manchester United

Watford will host Manchester United at Vicarage Road. Man United will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways after drawing with Everton. Man United needs to win this game for them to chase for a champions league berth.

On the other hand, Watford is really struggling this season. They need to start winning games in order for them to escape relegation. This game will be a difficult one to call, but I predict a slim win for Man United.

Manchester United: 2 Watford: 1

Tottenham VS. Chelsea

Tottenham will welcome Chelsea at their newly built Tottenham stadium. Tottenham players are high in confidence ahead of this game. Tottenham defeated Wolves last week and will be hoping to continue from where they left off.

On the other hand, Chelsea has dipped in form and will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways. Both teams are fighting for a place in the champion’s league, and a win for Tottenham will see them overtake Chelsea in the league standings. I predict a win for Tottenham because Chelsea is currently struggling to win games.

Tottenham: 3 Chelsea: 1
