Tottenham VS. Brighton
Tottenham will host Brighton at the new Tottenham Stadium on Boxing Day. Jose Mourinho’s side will be looking to bounce back from the 2-0 loss they suffered on the hands of Chelsea. Tottenham will go all guns blazing at Brighton, they still remain in the race for the top four. Brighton, on the other hand, was disappointing against the newly-promoted side Sheffield United and I don’t think they can cause an upset at London. I predict a massive win for Tottenham.
Tottenham: 4 Brighton: 0
Aston Villa VS. Norwich
Aston Villa will welcome newcomers Norwich to Villa Park. Both teams are struggling this season and are battling relegation. Aston Villa are on a four-game losing run and will be eager to win this one against a fellow relegation struggler. Norwich are bad away travellers and I don’t think they are capable of beating Villa at home. I predict a win for Villa.
Aston Villa: 2 Norwich: 1
Bournemouth VS. Arsenal
Bournemouth will host Arsenal at their Vitality Stadium. Bournemouth will be looking for a vital win and are only four points clear of the relegation zone, meaning they will go all guns blazing at Arsenal. Arsenal, on the other hand, is experiencing ups and downs so far this season. They played a goalless draw with Everton last Saturday. Newly appointed manager Mikel Arteta will be hoping to start his reign with a win against Bournemouth. I predict a slim win for Arsenal, the Gunners.
Bournemouth: 1 Arsenal: 2
Chelsea VS. Southampton
Chelsea will face Southampton at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea quickly bounced back from back to back losses and recorded a sweet win over local rivals Tottenham last Sunday. Chelsea have regained much confidence and will go all guns blazing ahead of this fixture. Southampton on the other hand did well to beat Aston Villa but will have a much bigger fish to fry at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea. I doubt the Saints are capable of causing an upset despite a quite decent away record. I predict a straight win for Chelsea.
Chelsea: 2 Southampton: 0
Crystal Palace VS. West Ham
Crystal Palace will face West Ham at Selhurst Park. Crystal Palace will be aiming to put an end to their three-game winless run in the premier league. Both teams seem to be struggling at the moment, but since Crystal Palace is playing at home, I fancy them to edge over this one.
Crystal Palace: 2 West Ham: 1
Everton VS. Burnley
Everton will face Burnley at Goodison Park. Everton will be looking to return to winning ways. Interim manager Duncan Ferguson did very well while in charge of Everton. Newly appointed manager Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping to continue from where Duncan Ferguson left off. Everton are eager to move away from the relegation and am very hopeful manager Ancelotti will approach this game with an attacking mind. Burnley are not good away travellers and I do not think they are capable of upsetting Everton. I predict a win for Everton.
Everton: 2 Burnley: 0
Sheffield United VS. Watford
Sheffield United will face Watford at their Bramall Lane. Sheffield will be looking for another crucial win that will extend their current winning run in the Premier League. Sheffield is 5th on the table and will be hoping to take one of the European competition slots. They are high in spirits ahead of this game. Watford recorded a shocking victory over Man United over the weekend and is full of confidence ahead of this game. I do not think Watford is capable of spoiling Sheffield United‘s party. I predict a win for Sheffield.
Sheffield United: 2 Watford: 0
Manchester United VS. Newcastle United
Manchester United will face Newcastle at Old Trafford. Man United will be aiming to bounce back from last Sunday’s defeat at struggling Watford. Man United are eager to stay in the race for the champions league spots. I believe they will go into this game fully in search of a win since a loss or draw could potentially derail their champions league aspirations. Newcastle did well to beat Crystal Palace and will hoping to cause an upset at Old Trafford. However, I predict a win for Man united.
Manchester United: 3 Newcastle United: 1
Leicester City VS. Liverpool
All eyes will be at the King Power Stadium when Leicester host Liverpool. Leicester aim to bounce back from the defeat they suffered against Man City but beating the league leaders is easier said than done. High flying Liverpool are now the world champions and are high in confidence ahead of this fixture. The big question is who can stop Liverpool at moment. They are playing some delightful football. This game will be a difficult one to call but I predict a slim win for Liverpool.
Leicester: 1 Liverpool: 2
Wolves VS. Manchester City
Wolves will welcome Man City to the Molineux Stadium. Wolves will be aiming to make it home and away wins over Man City. Wolves are playing some delightful football so far this season. Man City on the other hand came from behind to beat Leicester. Man City will go all guns blazing in search of revenge. This game will be a difficult one to call but I predict a win for Pep Guardiola’s Man City.
Wolves: 1 Man City: 2
