Cloud 9 and Excel Sports Form a Strategic Partnership
A strategic partnership with Guinevere Capital, Excel Esports’ minority shareholder, is established in the North American organization Cloud9.
The collaboration will see Guinevere Capital taking strategic charge of Kings Row LLC, a Cloud9 affiliate running the London Spitfire and the British Hurricane contenders chain.
Huya and Team Liquid extend stream partnership
Team Liquid has grown to 2022 its exclusive streaming relationship with HUYA ‘s Chinese network.
New faces from the Team Liquid banner are being streamed on the platform as part of the extension.
Levi’s adds some style to Prime League with a new deal
A relationship with American Clothing Company Levi’s was formed with the DACH region League of Legends Competition Prime League.
To bring the community together and to give them “a voice,” the clothing company launched the “Esports Collective, supported by Levi.”
Kappa and MAD Lions Form an Alliance
OverActive Media’s Spanish company MAD Lions entered into a relationship with the Kappa group of Italian Sportswear.
The deal would involve the LEC and Superliga Orange MAD Lions squads, along with Counter-Strike: the Global Offensive’s Flashpoint, the wear of Kappa clothing.
Gen. G Esports Enters new Deal with Puma
A collaboration has been formed with the German athletic apparel company Puma in global corporation Gen. G Esports.
It was confirmed that all participants in the company and content producers would acquire Puma products. However, precise requirements – financial details and the length – have not been revealed at the time of the written nature. The arrangement would cover General Esports and Puma’s research on the latest [marchandise], partnerships, and expertise.
LEC and KitKat Continue with Partnership
The Nestlé brand KitKat was maintained by Riot Games for the coming Summer Split as a partnership of their European League, LEC.
KitKat was initially a supporter of the Spring Split and funded breaks in the game.
Motorola Named Smartphone Partner by Evil Geniuses
For the forthcoming LCS Summer Break, the North American Organization Evil Geniuses has collaborated with the Telco company Motorola.
Motorola is the presenting mobile affiliate with both the LCS and Academy of Evil Geniuses and the latest Edge+ device is being illuminated. The deal was not disclosed in terms of duration and financial details.
PSG Esports and Talon Esports Team Up for Pacific Championship Series
PSG Esports, the French football club’s esports arms, was involved in the Pacific Championship Series (PCS) partnership with Talon Esports.
PCS comprises teams from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, a blend of a well-respected League of Legends Masters Series and Legends SEA Tour.
The PCS champion in the past divided Talon Esports. The new squad will be renamed PSG Talon and will concentrate primarily on the production of talent with a professional competitive strategy. The goal is to win a place at the Legends World Championship, scheduled in Shanghai from September onwards.
