The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) launched, in an exclusive collaboration, of Topgolf’s LPGA eTour Live, an exhibition competition focused on match play. A set of seven nine-hole Online matches will feature eight LPGA and Symetra Tour players head-to-head two days a week, beginning yesterday, Wednesday, May 13, and concluding with the championship match on Wednesday, June 3. Both matches are played at 2:00 pm. EDT can live stream on streaming channels, including LPGA and Topgolf.

The 1st match was played in the Congressional Country Club Blue Circuit of the 2022 and 2027 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, between Jessica Korda and Nelly Korda. Players will select from several iconic courses in the WGT portfolio, including the Old Course at St Andrews (host of the 2007 and 2013 AIG Women ‘s British Open), Oakmont Country Club (1992 and 2010 U.S. Women ‘s Open) and Pinehurst No. 2 (2014 U.S. Women’s Open), as well as potential U.S. Erin Hills (2025); The Olympic Club Lake Course (2021); the Pebble Beach Golf Links (2023) Women’s Open venues.
In a news release of LPGA eTour Live, Brian Carroll, LPGA’s Senior Vice President for Global Media Relief, said the company was excited to present an entertaining, alternative golf experience to fans at a time when many are starving for competition. This latest project is imaginative, with WGT and its incredibly realistic video game technologies, to pose LPGA and Symetra Tour players in a revolutionary online format.
