NFL Draft 2023

How to watch NFL Draft 2023: Start time, free live stream, draft order and stream

The 2023 NFL Draft begins Thursday at 8 p.m., and for the second year in a row, we have no idea who will be the first choice.

Despite trading with the Chicago Bears to move up to No. 1, the Carolina Panthers have yet to decide on a quarterback to start the draft. Despite durability concerns owing to his stature — he’s 5-foot-10 and weighs only 204 pounds — oddsmakers and most draft analysts appear to believe they’ll choose Alabama’s, Bryce Young. The other big contender appears to be Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud, who lambasted critics when his S2 cognitive test results were revealed on Wednesday. All eyes are on the Eagles, who have two first-round picks — No. 10 (courtesy of a deal with the New Orleans Saints) and No. 30.

Where is this year’s NFL draft taking place?

After nearly 50 years of having the NFL Draft in New York City, the NFL chose to move the event to Chicago in 2015. Since then, the NFL has moved the event throughout the country, holding it in a variety of locales, including Philadelphia in 2017.

Fall Out Boy, Mötley Crüe and Thundercat will perform for free at this year’s travelling roadshow in Kansas City, Missouri. Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, will organize his own concert on April 28 called “Kelce Jam,” which will feature performances by Machine Gun Kelly, Rick Ross, DJ duo Loud Luxury, and Kansas City rap star Tech N9ne.

The draft is set to take place in Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit next year.

What team has the most draft picks?

The Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Houston Texans each have 12 picks in the 2023 NFL draft.

The Miami Dolphins are the team with the fewest. They now have four draft picks and had their first-round pick taken away by the NFL after an investigation discovered the Dolphins engaged in “illegal communications” with Tom Brady during the 2019 season and the offseason in 2021.

How many draft picks do the Eagles have?

Overall, the Eagles have six picks entering the 2023 NFL draft, though that will likely change once Howie Roseman starts wheeling and dealing. Since Roseman took over as general manager in 2010, the Eagles have made trades and shifted picks during every draft (though Roseman lost his power to do so to former head coach Chip Kelly in 2015).

In addition to their two first-round picks this year, the Birds have one pick in the second round, one in the third, and two in the seventh. Here’s the full breakdown:

  1. First round, No. 10

  2. First round, No. 30

  3. Second round, No. 62

  4. Third round, No. 94

  5. Seventh round, No. 219

  6. Seventh round, No. 248
