Every year, WWE fans look forward to WrestleMania weekend, which includes exciting matchups between the top WWE superstars, as well as the WWE Hall of Fame inductions. With WrestleMania 39 taking place this weekend on April 1 and 2, the inductions for the Hall of Fame Class of 2023 will take place after the Friday Night SmackDown show on March 31. Interestingly, WWE announced the first celebrity to be inducted into the Hall of Fame earlier this week.
WWE named Rey Mysterio as the Class of 2023’s first Hall of Fame inductee. “The Master of the 619 has had an illustrious career, appearing not only in WWE but also in ECW, AAA, CMLL, NJPW, and WCW.” He captured the 2006 Royal Rumble, the World Heavyweight Championship twice, and the WWE Championship once in his WWE career. He has also won the Triple Crown and the Grand Slam. “To name a few, Mysterio had memorable moments and rivalries with Eddie Guerrero, Batista, Kurt Angle, Cody Rhodes, and Edge, to name a few,” WWE said in a statement congratulating the 48-year-old superstar.

The WWE Hall of Fame 2023 inductions will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles California on Friday night (local time). As per the Indian Standard Time, the March 31 episode of SmackDown will go live on Saturday early morning in India.
